An exclusive lead is sold to one buyer, once. When a contact is delivered to your account, no other firm receives that same contact - not simultaneously, not as aged data, not ever. At Leadport, exclusive means one buyer. That is the only definition we operate.
What Exclusive Is Not
Most of the lead industry operates on a shared model. The same contact is sold to three, four, or five buyers at the same moment. By the time you call, the prospect has already heard from two other firms and is actively ignoring their phone.
Some suppliers call leads exclusive when they mean sold to only two buyers. That is half-shared with better marketing. Others call aged data exclusive because they no longer actively sell it. We do neither.
